While booking through booking.com, your card details are asked by the booking portal solely as for security reasons. Booking.com does not charge you. The payments have to be done by you directly at the property. In case of Non-Arrival by 1 pm, rooms are automatically released by the system.

There is no Act or Clause in the Indian Constitution which prohibits a Hotel from giving a room to ummarried couples and denying a room on these grounds is in fact a violation of their fundamental rights.
